Dehradun, Uttarakhand: In a major step towards tackling the growing water scarcity in the hill state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday launched the “Water Source Recharge Scheme”, aimed at conserving natural water resources and ensuring sustainable water availability for future generations.

- Reviving Springs and Rivers: The scheme focuses on recharging traditional water sources such as springs, streams, and rivers which are depleting at an alarming rate due to climate change and unplanned urbanization.
